What you're agreeing to when you install or use Forsive.
Please read these terms before using Forsive. By installing or using the application, you agree to them. Forsive is developed and operated by an individual developer, not a company.
Forsive is made available to you for personal, non-commercial use, under the license terms in the LICENSE file included with the software. In short: it is provided directly to you, all rights are reserved by the developer, and you may not copy, redistribute, resell, or reverse engineer it.
Forsive reads, edits, creates, and organizes files in folders you choose, using an AI model accessed through a relay service the developer operates. You do not need your own API key or account with the AI provider to use Forsive.
Each task Forsive performs (reading a file, drafting a document, editing a section, and so on) draws down a balance of credits, priced according to the actual work involved rather than a flat per-message fee. As a rough guide, one credit covers a typical task on the default model; switching to a more capable model costs more credits per task.
Once your free credits run out, you can buy more in three packs:

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and the merchant of record for these transactions. When you buy a pack, Lemon Squeezy handles your payment details directly. Forsive and its developer never see or store your card information. By making a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms & Conditions for the transaction itself.
Purchased credits are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you believe a purchase was made in error, contact us (Section 10) and we'll look into it, but a purchase is not automatically reversible.
This feature may not be available in every version of Forsive yet. If purchasing isn't reachable in the app you're running, your account still works as described above, on free grants only.
Forsive is built so that it never overwrites your original files: every edit or new document it creates is saved as a separate, new file. That said, Forsive is provided as-is (see Section 6), so you should keep your own backups of anything you can't afford to lose, as you would with any software that touches your files.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the relay service if we reasonably believe you've violated these terms.
Forsive is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Forsive is a small, actively developed project, not a commercial product with guaranteed support or uptime. Features, pricing, and availability may change as it develops.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Forsive. The developer's total liability to you for any claim relating to Forsive will not exceed the total amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.
These terms remain in effect for as long as you use Forsive. You may stop using Forsive, and delete it, at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the relay service, in whole or in part, at any time, and will make reasonable efforts to let users know of any change that affects their access or their credit balance.
We may update these terms as Forsive changes. If a change materially affects cost, credits, or how your data is handled, we will present the updated terms to you again rather than applying them silently.
